Good morning from Indonesia!

My name is Rosiana and I'm the developer of Hatchlings. First, I would like to apologize for my bad English and every flaws my first flash game; Hatchlings have. Second, I would like to thanks to casualmob to give me chance to share a blog with the mobs and thanks to the mobs for playing my game.

I would like to share several topics about Hatchlings. I hope these doesn't makes you fall asleep.

The origins
Like any of you, I like play games and beside that I also always have urges to create things. At December 2008, I discover opportunities on flash game development and decides to learn Action Script 3.0 (flash scripting language). I wasn't try to make any game at that time, thinks that I should keep learning tutorials until I can make my game vision come to real. That, until I met Bart Bonte. He insist that learning process is better through making instead tutorials and I'm glad that I follow his advices of 'start by making simple point and click games'.

That is how I start developing Hatchlings two months ago although at the end, it is not as simple as most point and click games.

Why Hatchlings?

Obviously I love dragons so much. And while searching for a nifty short description for the game, I just think.. why not making a story about hatchlings that seeking theirs mother?

But there is only two hatchlings there!

Because it is a prologue. I planned from beginning when I create the story that I want Hatchlings to be game series if possible. And as a story writer myself, I learn that *a good* unsolved stories will make readers want more. You will met more dragon hatchlings at the sequel.

So when the sequel will arrive?

I think I will finish Hatchlings 2 in around two months, hopefully shorter. For sure, I learn my mistakes and it will have better graphics because I just acquire a Bamboo Pen Tablet from Bamboo By Wacom community! I apologize if it might too long to wait.
